Check hardware requirements

There are some predefined hardware requirements in the readme file. Your computer must have all of them installed in order to play.

  • Operating system: Windows 8/7 / Vista Service Pack 1
  • Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz processor

Update origin

The origin must be updated as follows:

  1. Launch the Origin UI.

Provide administrative rights to the source file

The source file might have compatibility issues with the operating system. Windows provides a way to fix compatibility issues.

  1. Open My Computer.

  3. Type “Origin.exe” in the search box.
  4. Press ENTER.
  5. Right click on the Search Results file, select Properties.
  6. Click the Compatibility tab, check the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” check box, and choose an older version of Windows.

Change the setting of FifaSetup_Default.ini

  1. Open My Computer, press F3 and find the file “Fifasetup_default.ini”.
  2. Right-click the file in the search results and open it with Notepad.
  3. Click Edit | Search for “RESOLUTIONWIDTH” and “RESOLUTIONHEIGHT”:
  4. Replace the existing values with the appropriate width and height.
  5. Click File | Save and then exit.

  1. Right click on My Computer, select Properties.
  2. Click Advanced System Settings on the left side panel.
  3. A new dialog opens with the Advanced tab open.
  4. Click the Settings button below the Performance box.
  5. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, the last one.

  9. Click OK twice.

Game components, such as DLL files and server settings, must be re-registered. This will fix FIFA 14 crashes.

1. Click Start, type “Command Prompt” in the search box.

2. It will appear in the Search Results.

3. Right click on it, select Run as administrator.

4. Enter the following commands one by one. Press ENTER after each command completes.

ehmsas.exe / unregServer

ehmsas.exe / regserver

5. Close the Command Prompt dialog box.

Reset folder permissions

There is a possibility that the FIFA 14 folder does not have sufficient administrative permissions. When this is the case, it will provide read / write permissions to the folder and all its contents (subfolders, files).

  1. Open C: Program Files (x86).
  2. Right click on FIFA14, select Properties.
  3. Click Share | Advanced sharing | Permissions
  4. Check “Full Control” and click OK.

Delete user preferences

User preferences are stored in a separate folder called “FIFA 14” found in the My Documents folder. Due to the corruption of these files, you are experiencing FIFA 14 crashes.

  1. Open My Documents.
  2. Delete the “FIFA 14” folder from the Recycle Bin.

Note: DO NOT delete it permanently. In case the crashes keep happening, we can easily restore it.

The best way is to download FIFA 14 Crash-Fix. Install and run the downloaded program, run a full scan, and repair the problem automatically.
