Quite frankly, calling the HTC EVO 4G a mobile phone would be an insult to the device as it functions much more than a mobile phone. The competition in the Android field is set to become even more furious and bloody with its arrival. HTC has already designed Google’s brand ambassador phone: the “Nexus One” and with Evo it has been in charge of getting ahead of it. Perhaps the biggest competitor to the Evo would be Apple’s iPhone 4, as the former beats the latter in most of the features that became the iPhone’s USP. Still wondering why Evo 4G is getting such high praise in this article?

First off, the Evo’s biggest advantage is that it runs on Sprint’s 4G network, and therefore you’ll get a world of features that the iPhone’s clogged AT&T 3G network won’t provide. Yes, we know that 4G services aren’t available in most cities, but if you’re using an Android phone, chances are you’re looking to the future. The Evo’s large viewing screen would feel like a kind of miniature movie screen. Its super large 4.3 screen flaunts brilliant colors as a viewing pleasure. And it has an amazing “stand”: an extendable arm that allows the phone to be held horizontally while you watch movies or type. How does that sound?

Evo 4G has hundreds of features that will require a book to describe, but if you’re curious enough, you’ll soon be put to the test by delving into its Android interface.
