Roresishms

A Virtual World of Live Pictures.

The bedroom is the place of relaxation, romance and rest. Well designed, the bedroom can inspire couples to feel more romantic and arouse their passions. Otherwise, relationships can boil down to a friendly, not-so-romantic handshake. If bedrooms are a place of activity, such as exercise, work, hobbies, or other interests, then they won’t be the resting space they were meant to be. There’s a fine line between creating the bedroom that inspires you and the bedroom that drains you.

One of the first areas this shows up in is artwork. Feng shui has strict rules regarding bedrooms and consequently the art that goes into them. Over and over again, I see rooms during feng shui consultations whose artwork seems to be what was left of the rest of the house. However, the symbolism of the art in relation to the room in which it is displayed is not taken into account, such as winter scenes in a matrimonial bedroom. This can fill the bedroom with all the wrong messages. Bbbbrrrrr…….

Bedrooms should display the messages that inspire the person (or people) who occupy the room. Artwork should reflect your tastes, interests, and desires while still following feng shui guidelines. This will help ensure that negative or inappropriate messages do not distract from the main goals of the bedroom: rest, romance and relaxation.

Look at all the bedrooms in the house. Determine if they are inspiring and if they are making the appropriate statements for the room. For example, a scary Spiderman poster that looks like Spiderman is going to jump off the wall can create a scary bedroom for a young child.

Or, photos of children in a master bedroom create too much “child energy” and can be awkward for romance, causing marital passion to wane. Next, keep in mind the feng shui guidelines, such as removing mirrors, images of dragons, deities. or ferocious animals.

Sleeping is a time when we must be more protected and cared for. That’s why it makes sense to make sure your bedrooms support you, your family, and your relationships.

Art in Children’s Bedrooms

* Avoid ferocious animals and scary figures.

* Put cheerful and bright images in children’s rooms.

* Show pictures of skill and learning, like pictures of globes and books or any kind of learning experience

* DO NOT post images of water, lakes or oceans

* Avoid images of religious themes, such as crosses or religious figures.

* Select images of animals that are positive, such as horses (good for children) that look happy and strong, not scared. Turtles are also beneficial. Avoid frogs and toads that may appear to “eat” whatever is in the room.

* DO have pictures of the parents in the children’s room to inspire better behavior and greater respect

* Clouds are very popular for children’s bedrooms. Make sure that if you have clouds on the ceiling, the child’s head is not covered by a cloud, as this will create ‘a cloud over their head’ and this can lead to a number of difficulties. (The same is true for the adult rooms).

Art in Adult Bedrooms

* For couples, place pictures of couples (geese, ducks, chairs, vases, etc.) to encourage bonding

* Avoid images of heavenly images of deities, religious figures, etc.

* Avoid single item images that suggest being alone

* Avoid images of flowers and plants, unless someone is sick. Plants and pictures of plants or flowers will make couples argue.

* DO have images of love, such as couples embracing, tasteful nudes, or affection.

* DO NOT have pictures of children in the bedroom. You already have enough “kid time”. Have a place in the house that is dedicated exclusively to you and your partner.

* If you are single, make sure you have pictures in the bedroom that represent the energy you are trying to attract, ie a single woman looking for a man should hang pictures that show men or have strong men in the scene.

* To create opportunities for yourself, put a picture of an open field on the wall opposite the bed. This suggests that your life path is open and obstacles have been removed.
